Wind Music

Wind Music explores a state of inner transition — a moment in which the old form can no longer remain intact, while the new has not yet fully emerged, existing in a suspended space between concealment and revelation. The title refers not to sound alone, but to an invisible force in motion — a subtle resonance that shapes form without being seen, much like inner processes that move through the body and consciousness.

The central figure appears enveloped in a semi-transparent metal mesh, evoking a protective cocoon, a ritual garment, and an industrial shell at once. This layered enclosure establishes a tense dialogue between vulnerability and strength, corporeality and spirit. The mesh responds visually to the idea of wind: it bends, ripples, and captures movement, suggesting that the form is not fixed but continuously shaped by unseen currents.

The chromatic structure of the work is built upon a powerful contrast between deep black and gold. Black functions not as emptiness but as primordial depth — a field of silence, potential, and latent knowledge from which form arises. Gold signifies inner light, core value, and resonance, emerging through the layers like a melody carried by air, impossible to contain or silence.

The metal mesh plays a pivotal conceptual role, acting as a filter between the viewer and the image. It introduces distance, tension, and a sense of guarded intimacy, reinforcing themes of boundaries — personal, social, and historical. Screws and steel staples are intentionally left visible, emphasizing the act of holding form in place, an attempt to secure what is inherently fluid, responsive, and alive.

The figure within the composition remains deliberately ambiguous, dissolving into gesture rather than presenting a fixed identity. It represents not a person, but a state of consciousness — a moment of attunement, when inner movement becomes perceptible, like wind passing through space and revealing itself only through its effects.

Created in June 2024, during a period marked by global and internal instability, Wind Music carries the imprint of its time and place. It reflects a condition of heightened sensitivity, tension, and listening — a pause in which transformation begins not through force, but through resonance.

With its large scale of 152 × 152 cm, the work possesses a strong spatial presence, functioning as an autonomous energetic field within its environment. It is intended for collectors and spaces that value depth, subtle movement, and the poetry of invisible forces over literal representation.
